Madhobpur Lake and Tea Estate are located in Kamalganj Upazila of Moulvibazar district. The scenic Madhabpur Lake is surrounded by small hills. Most of the hills have been planted with tea trees. The shore side of the lake is full of lotuses and lilies. The color of the lily is bluish which decorates this place with blue spheres. The lake is encircled by little slopes.
The lake is so wide and it’s hard to cover the whole lake with your camera. There is always a strong wind blowing around the lake which makes the water of the lake look like a river or the water of a calm sea.

It is one of the most famous places of interest in Bangladesh. Madhabpur Lake Madhabpur is a natural lake inside the tea estate. The lake water is so clean and clear that you can’t stop yourself from jumping inside the lake.
The lake is in the middle of small hills and tea trees are planted in most parts of the hills. A variety of migratory birds come here from the cold country during the winter season so bird lovers can see and enjoy a variety of birds here. This is an ideal place for photographers.

How To Go?
It is about 207 km from Dhaka and 39.3 km from Moulvibazar. Bus companies like Shohag, Hanif, Shamoli, TR travel from Makkah to Srimangal. If you prefer rail, you can take Kalni Express, Parabat Express, or Jayantika Express from Makkah to Srimangal.
After reaching Srimangal, you can take a CNG autorickshaw or bus to Srimangal-Vanugach road. You can reach Sylhet from Hetaka. The tea estate is 94.2 km away from the main city of Sylhet. After reaching Sylhet by bus on the Sylhet-Moulvibazar highway.
